Locke Lord Obtains Summary Judgment in Action for Damages Alleging American Tower Breached Confidentiality and Non-Circumvention Agreement
Ira Greenberg (New York) obtained summary judgment in an action for damages that alleged that our client, American Tower, breached a confidentiality and non-circumvention agreement. The court held that the plaintiff, an affiliate of Madison Capital, could not prove any damages, that American Tower did not violate its duty of good faith and fair dealing, and that it was not unjustly enriched as a result of the transaction in question, American Tower’s purchase of the broadcast rights at the John Hancock Center in Chicago.
