In 2011, a team of Insurance Law lawyers provided our insurance company client a 50 state analysis of the Rules and Regulations pertaining to Producer Appointment requirements for Insurance Brokers and Agents in the US. The comprehensive study involved research and analysis of all pertinent insurance statutes, regulations, and directives from state insurance departments and the National Insurance Producers Registry to ascertain the applicable appointment requirements and permissible activities of both entity and individual producers doing business in the US.
