Acquisition of Multimedia Technologies by Medquist, Inc.

Our lawyers represented Advanced Media Inc. in the acquisition of MultiModal Technologies, Inc. by Medquist, Inc., completed on August 18, 2011. MultiModal Technologies, Inc. and MedQuist are both healthcare technology providers of advanced clinical documentation solutions, enabling hospitals and physicians to enrich the content of patient electronic health records (EHR) for improved healthcare and comprehensive billing integrity. The combined company changed its name to MModal Inc. in January 2012. This transaction was reported on Reuters.

Our lawyers were also Co-Chair of the Unsecured Creditor’s Committee in the subsequent Chapter 11 case of MModal (Legend Parent) f/k/a Medquist, Inc.
