Both programs aim to identify, train and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession.

According to LCLD, its landmark Fellows Program, established in 2011, is one of its most important initiatives. An Associate in Locke Lord’s Litigation Practice Group, Van Hook is a commercial litigator who represents companies in business disputes of all sizes. Her practice includes internal investigations, government investigations and audits, arbitrations and all phases of trial in both state and federal court. Passionate about using the power of advocacy to advance justice, Van Hook is an active member of the Black Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater Chicago and maintains a robust pro bono practice.
