Trustees of Boston College 501(c)(3) Revenue Bonds

Edwards Wildman has a long history of serving as bond counsel in connection with the issuance of qualified 501(c)(3) bonds by the Massachusetts Development Finance Agency (and its predecessor) for the Trustees of Boston College. In 2013, a team of Edwards Wildman public finance lawyers served as bond counsel in connection with the College’s most recent transaction, which involved the issuance of $142,475,000 Massachusetts Development Finance Agency Revenue Bonds, Boston College Issue, Series S (2013), the proceeds of which were used to finance certain new money projects and to currently refund an outstanding issue of tax-exempt debt in part on a “transitioned” basis pursuant to the provisions of Section 1313(c)(2) of the Tax Reform Act of 1986.
