Isaac Treadaway counsels employers on all issues arising in the employment life cycle and defends employers in a wide range of employment disputes involving both federal and state courts and administrative agencies. Isaac represents and advises clients as it relates to employment contracts, separation agreements, restrictive covenant agreements, state and federal wage and hour laws, company policies, disability accommodations, and employment discrimination, harassment and retaliation allegations. Isaac also advises clients on accommodation issues related to Titles II and III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and comparable state laws.

Isaac’s representative experience includes:

  • Defended international oil field services company in state and federal courts for claims involving sex discrimination, disability discrimination and retaliation
  • Represented clients in the administrative claims process involving claims of discrimination
  • Defended upstream completion service company in a collective action suit involving allegations of unpaid overtime violations under federal law
  • Defended international industrial distribution and supply company in employment disputes involving allegations of breach of contract and fraud
  • Defended international hotel services provider in defending claims regarding equal access to facilities and services
  • Provided advice and counsel regarding the enforceability of restrictive covenants, including confidentiality provisions, non-competition agreements, and customer and employee non-solicitation agreements under various state laws
  • Advised clients on proper pay practices, employee classifications, and employee exemptions under the FLSA and various state law equivalents
  • Advised clients and drafted policies and employee handbooks covering numerous subjects, including discrimination, harassment, leaves of absence, vacation and paid time off, pay requirements, drug and alcohol testing, background checks for hiring, weapons in the workplace and employee privacy
  • Drafted and advised clients with respect to separation and release agreements
  • Provided advice and counsel with respect to various state and federal laws regarding COVID-19-related employment issues
