Christine Shang is a litigation associate in the New York office of Locke Lord LLP where she focuses on representing global aviation companies through all stages of complex civil litigation, including mediation and trial in state and federal courts.
Christine practices as part of a team which serves as national defense counsel for one of the world’s largest aircraft manufacturers. In this role, she has defended against numerous wrongful death, serious personal injury, and property damage claims following aircraft accidents involving commercial, tourist, air ambulance, news gathering, and private operation flights. In addition, she has counseled clients on domestic regulations involving aircraft and their operation, advised foreign clients on U.S. litigation and discovery processes, and represented clients during National Transportation Safety Board public hearings. Christine’s experience also includes litigating matters on behalf of financial institutions.
Through her practice, she has appeared before state and federal court judges for oral argument and pre-trial conferences, conducted depositions, and drafted numerous briefs on technical and legal issues.
