David Savell is a Partner in the London office of Locke Lord LLP where he focuses his practice on white collar criminal defense & internal investigations, regulatory investigations and compliance matters. David has advised both corporations and individuals on regulatory and criminal work ranging from financial regulatory concerns, reporting obligations, 166 reports, the initial stages of enforcement and criminal investigations, interviews under caution or compulsion and restraint proceedings through to appeal and confiscation. He also has experience in a wide variety of advisory and contentious matters in the areas of sanctions, anti-money laundering, regulation and the UK Bribery Act, including advising on related compliance policies and procedures. He has acted in investigations and cases brought by the Crown Prosecution Service, the Serious Fraud Office, the Financial Conduct Authority, the Competition and Markets Authority, the Financial Reporting Council, the Health and Safety Executive amongst others, he began his career with the Revenue and Customs Prosecution Office. He is a member of Gray’s Inn and is a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales.
