Jordan has extensive experience in all aspects of environmental litigation, particularly lawsuits arising under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), the Clean Water Act and common law.
In addition, Jordan’s regulatory counseling experience includes providing comments on U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services rulemakings pursuant to the Endangered Species Act and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rulemakings pursuant to Clean Air Act.
As a former policy advisor to Texas Governor Greg Abbott, Jordan advised the Governor on environmental issues and spearheaded the Governor’s regulatory reform initiative. He worked with lawyers, heads of agencies and stakeholders on issues involving environmental and administrative law and occupational licensing. He also served as the Governor’s liaison to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and the EPA.
