Daniel Lee is Of Counsel in the Hong Kong office of Locke Lord. He has been practicing shipping and commercial law for more than 15 years, focusing on litigation and arbitration. On the contentious side, Daniel represents clients in various types of shipping disputes. He has acted for shipowners in defending claims relating to charterparties and bills of lading. Daniel’s commercial litigation experience includes contractual disputes, debt recovery action, shareholders disputes, employment disputes, bankruptcy and winding up of companies. He has represented and advised clients in recovering monies fraudulently transferred in scams.
While concentrating on litigation and arbitration, Daniel also has extensive experience in a wide range of non-contentious matters, including sale and purchase of ships, corporate restructuring, joint ventures, employment and licensing and franchising of products and services.
