Jack has extensive experience with traditional labor and labor-management relations issues. He has counseled management personnel across several industries relative to contract interpretation as well as discipline and discharge matters. He has represented management throughout the various steps of labor disputes — including multiple grievance arbitrations. Jack’s experience also includes negotiating collective bargaining agreements and advising on labor-implications of mergers and acquisitions involving unionized workforces.

Jack has extensive experience with traditional labor and labor-management relations issues. He has counseled management personnel across several industries relative to contract interpretation as well as discipline and discharge matters. He has represented management throughout the various steps of labor disputes — including multiple grievance arbitrations. Jack’s experience also includes negotiating collective bargaining agreements and advising on labor-implications of mergers and acquisitions involving unionized workforces.
Beyond his labor experience, Jack has defended employers in litigation involving wage and hour claims and advocated on behalf of employers in proceedings before various administrative agencies, including: the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
Additionally, Jack provides counseling and advice to employers on a number of issues, including hiring and discipline, wage and hour compliance and restrictive covenants.
Jack has extensive experience assisting clients with numerous issues arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, including developing return to work health and safety protocols, addressing vaccination issues and ensuring compliance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), OSHA, and EEOC guidance and recommendations as well as those of state and local governments and agencies.
