Jeffrey W. Kennedy

Jeffrey Kennedy focuses his practice on assisting private equity firms and their portfolio companies in connection with a variety of transactional needs, including leveraged buyouts, debt and equity offerings, minority investments and general corporate counseling. Jeff also assists governmental and non-governmental entities with various tax-exempt and taxable bond issuances.

Jeff’s experience includes assisting in the representation of:

• Millstone Medical Outsourcing and its majority owner Schooner Capital in the sale of Millstone, a comprehensive solutions provider of quality-critical services to the medical device and pharmaceutical industries, to Arlington Capital Partners
• Softworld, Inc., a leading technology staffing and workforce solutions firm, in its sale to Kelly Services, Inc. (Nasdaq: KELYA, KELYB)
• HES Facilities Services, LLC, a portfolio company of Nautic Partners, in its acquisition of WFF Facility Services and Clean-Tech Company
• Bright Horizons Family Solutions in connection with the acquisition of Choice Sitter LLC, a subsidiary of SitterCity Incorporated
• ABRY Partners LLC in connection with a growth equity investment in Cayman Islands-based Asignet Holdings, Ltd., in exchange for equity interest therein
• ABRY Partners LLC in connection with a growth equity investment in Sweden-based Boiling Water AB in exchange for equity interest therein
• The State of Rhode Island in connection with COVID-19-related cash flow financings
• Brown University in connection with a $300 million taxable bonds issuance
