Rebecca Lee Katz is a Real Estate Finance and Private Equity & Venture Capital associate in the Los Angeles office of Locke Lord LLP. Her practice focuses on representing private equity and venture capital funds and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financings, and general corporate matters. She also has experience in a variety of commercial real estate and finance matters, including the representation of clients in real estate acquisitions, lending, development and leasing.
Prior to joining the Firm, she worked in Washington, D.C. and the Middle East. Most recently, she served as Executive Director of the Friends of the Public-Private Partnership for Reform in Afghanistan, a partnership with the United States Department of State, while attending The George Washington University Law School, where she ranked no. 1 among the January 2017 graduates. Ms. Katz was also West Bank/Gaza Desk Officer for the Middle East Bureau of the United States Agency for International Development. She speaks Arabic and French.
