Jason Julien is an associate in the Chicago office of Locke Lord LLP where he has extensive experience representing financial institutions in state and federal courts in consumer finance matters. He represents banks and financial institutions in consumer litigation involving claims under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Truth in Lending Act, and other state and federal consumer financial regulations. He has been second chair trial counsel in numerous state and federal courts in Missouri and Illinois, including securing verdicts for clients in mortgage related litigation. Jason also has experience drafting and arguing dispositive pretrial motions, including arguing motions for summary judgment and drafting briefing in opposition to class certification. Additionally, he advises in-house counsel on litigation strategy and developments in financial regulations.
