Samantha Ingram is an associate in the Firm's New York office with broad experience in complex commercial litigation. She focuses her practice on business and commercial litigation, consumer finance cases, bankruptcy litigation, and white collar criminal defense. Sami is also a member of the New York-based Residential Mortgage Backed Securities (“RMBS”) litigation team and currently represents a mortgage servicer in a number of RMBS buy-back litigations pending before the New York Supreme Court, New York County.
Her consumer finance and bankruptcy practices focus on the representation of major financial institutions and mortgage companies and servicers in state, federal and bankruptcy court matters. As part of her financial services and consumer finance practice, Samantha regularly represents banks, mortgage lenders/servicers and other financial institutions in putative class and mass actions in both state and federal courts defending against alleged violations of the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and related state laws.
In the area of white collar criminal defense, she has represented individuals in connection with investigations by the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission and U.S. Attorney’s Office.
