Kirsty Harrower advises clients in relation to a wide range of real estate transactions, including investment acquisitions and disposals; development and site assembly projects, refinancing transactions; and retail, office and industrial lettings. In addition to investment and development work, she has advised on specialist and international matters including data centre and hotel acquisitions.

She acts for a variety of clients including UK and overseas institutional investors, private equity firms, multi-national telecommunications companies, occupational tenants, property companies and public sector bodies.

Representative Experience

  • Representing the landlord of the Nobu Hotel in London in relation to a development agreement for lease, headlease and ancillary documents
  • Advising the purchasers of 99 Gresham Street and, separately, 60 Gresham Street in the City of London
  • Advising a multi-national pharmaceutical company in relation to the re-gear of the headlease of their HQ Building within the UK
  • Providing specialist rights of light settlement advice in connection with the redevelopment of various sites within the City of London
  • Advising Varde Partners on the purchase of Bizspace Group, the UK provider of flexible business for approximately £138 million
  • Advising one of Southeast Asia’s largest property development companies, Sinarmas Land Limited, on their purchase of the Alphabeta building in Finsbury Square, London for more than £250 million (which won Deal of the Year 2016 at the Property Week Awards) and, separately, New Brook Buildings, Great Queen Street, London in 2013 for £84 million
  • Advising China Overseas Holdings limited on their purchase of 1 Finsbury Circus, London for £152 million and Centrium Building, 61 Aldwych, London for £170 million
  • Coordinating and negotiating the sale of a large portfolio of trophy retail properties on Oxford Street, London
  • Advising an international rating agency in respect of their rating assessment of a CMBS backed portfolio of 16 luxury hotels in the UK
  • Negotiating a number of high profile lettings in Central London, including Balthazar in Covent Garden
  • Advising JP Morgan in connection with the acquisition of 25 Bank Street, Canary Wharf for £495 million
  • Representing a global telecommunications company in relation to its international lease renewals across EMEA and Asia
  • Assisting with the purchase (and subsequent strategic management) of a portfolio of properties adjoining London's Old Street roundabout for a JV entity for an undisclosed sum
  • Coordinating the corporate acquisition of two regional shopping centres in the UK (the Kennet Centre in Newbury, Berkshire and the Kirkgate Centre, Bradford) for a global private equity investment firm
  • Carrying out title diligence on a number of complex properties across London and Southern England (for example, parts of the City of London, Canary Wharf, London and Festival Place Shopping Centre, Basingstoke)
  • Managing a corporate share purchase transaction with a complex debt structure and subsequent hive across of two student accommodation blocks in Liverpool and Loughborough
  • Leading the purchase of a De Vere hotel in the West Midlands for £12.25m and the disposal of a retail portfolio in Birmingham City Centre at a value of £35m
