PRACTICES

Anna K. Finger is an associate in Locke Lord’s Business Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group.

Anna’s practice spans a variety of legal areas including contracts, antitrust, patent and trademark license disputes, products liability, securities, condemnation, consumer finance, regulatory compliance and a number of business torts including fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, tortious interference, and statutory violations. With that being said, when litigation does arise, Anna is proficient in all stages. She has experience drafting initial pleadings, performing complex legal research and analyses, conducting witness interviews, preparing witnesses for deposition, taking and defending depositions, and drafting and arguing case-dispositive motions. She has tried cases to a jury, and drafted post-trial motions and appellate briefs. Anna has also advised clients on their obligations in responding to subpoenas, and drafted those appropriate responses.

Despite her litigation focus, Anna also has experience drafting contracts ‎and forming new legal entities.‎

Anna is also committed to giving back to the community through her pro bono work, mainly involving divorce proceedings.

Prior to joining the Firm, Anna was a student attorney for the Consumer Financial Transactions Clinic at the University of North Carolina School of Law, Chief Justice of UNC Law’s Holderness Moot Court, a national moot court appellate advocacy competitor, and a research assistant to Sports and Entertainment Law Professor and Director of UNC’s Graduate Sport Administration Program, Barbara Osborne.
