Christopher Evans is a counsel in the West Palm Beach office of Locke Lord LLP where he concentrates his practice in consumer finance law. He focuses his practice on the representation of clients in consumer-related litigation in both state and federal court. Chris frequently engages in litigation involving consumer fraud and cases based on a myriad of state and federal consumer protection statutes.

Chris regularly represents consumer lenders, loan servicers, trustees and other in individual cases brought pursuant to a variety of state and federal consumer protection states, including but not limited to, the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA, the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), and various state consumer fraud acts, and other statutes. Mr. Evans has defended banks and financial institutions in numerous federal and state appeal action cases.
