    Emma Cordiner is a Consultant in Locke Lord's London office acting for a variety of clients with commercial real estate requirements both in the UK and internationally.

    Emma's particular focus for the past decade has been the data centre sector where she advises and assists clients during legal negotiations to secure sites creating global networks spanning multiple jurisdictions.

    Emma has also gained specialist experience acting for clients in the renewable energy sector, advising on the real estate aspects of high-value transactions involving renewable energy sites as the core assets.

    She also has broad real estate finance experience, acting for both for lenders and borrowers, and in 2009 completed a nine month secondment to Royal Bank of Scotland where she worked in both an in-house legal capacity for the Bank and later, within in the Bank's restructuring group, dealing with distressed debt.

    Emma is otherwise experienced in all areas of commercial real estate and corporate real estate work, and has also throughout her career acted for many landlords and tenants, including pension fund and institutional landlords, in the retail, industrial and office sectors.
