Alicia Carroll focuses her practice on drafting and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications, and intellectual property litigation support. Alicia works in a variety of technical fields, including fluid mechanics, aerospace systems, aircraft systems, aerodynamics, power generation systems and medical devices. She has experience in all stages of patent procurement from preparing applications to filing appeals with the Patent Trial and Appeal Board as well as experience in preparing non-infringement and invalidity opinions.

Alicia has been involved in numerous aspects of patent litigation, including pre-litigation research, initial pleadings, drafting summary judgement motions, settlement discussions and discovery.
In addition to her intellectual property practice, Alicia also serves as a member of the Fairfield University School of Engineering Executive Advisory Board.
While attending Fairfield University earning her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Alicia played on Fairfield University's NCAA Division I Women's Golf Team and was appointed as a captain. Alicia then attended University of Connecticut School of Law where she served as President of the Women Law Students' Association and was the Assistant Managing Editor of the Connecticut Journal of International Law, and was a member of the Moot Court Board.
