Maddie Brunner represents a broad range of clients in a variety of complex commercial matters, including contract disputes, products liability matters, government investigations, aviation litigation and business torts. She has experience in preparing witnesses for deposition and trial, conducting complex legal research and analysis, e-discovery and motion practice. Maddie counsels clients throughout the litigation process from initial case assessment, through mediation, pre-trial, trial and post-trial appeals.

Maddie counsels clients throughout the litigation process from initial case assessment, through mediation, pre-trial, trial and post-trial appeals.

Her experience includes:

  • Represents a health care distributor in ongoing opioid litigation in state and federal court
  • Represents national banks, mortgage lenders and mortgage servicers in a variety of litigation, including allegations of breach of contract, violations of state and federal debt collection acts, fraud and violations of the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA)
  • Assists in advising commercial landlords and property owners in a variety of commercial and litigation matters
  • Assisted in representing a regional tollway authority in condemnation actions

Maddie rejoined the Firm in 2022 after serving as Corporate Counsel for Le Duff America, Inc., where she provided legal advice on all aspects of company operations, including employment matters, purchasing, real estate, franchising, information technology, trademarks, corporate matters and litigation.

During law school, Maddie served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Stephen C. Williams in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois.
