Nina Brox focuses her practice on the formation of special districts, including community facilities districts and assessment districts, to support residential and mixed-use planned communities and the issuance of taxable- and tax-exempt Mello-Roos special tax bonds and assessment bonds via conduit or as direct issuances.

Nina is currently expanding her practice to include public improvement districts and municipal utility districts, among others. She also acts as bond counsel for a variety of 501(c)(3) borrowers, States and authorities and acts as underwriter’s counsel for major national financial institutions.

Nina has additional experience in the area of cross-border securitization, bespoke debt financing and derivatives for nearly a decade in private practice in London and Paris.
