    Davin Boldissar focuses on bankruptcy, creditor's rights and commercial litigation. In addition, Davin is an active pro bono practitioner and has extensive experience working with nonprofits and individual clients on a wide range of matters.

    Representative Experience

    • Representation as lead counsel of debtors in possession in business reorganization cases and out-of-court workouts, including most recently, Louisiana Pellets (pending in the Western District of Louisiana), and Texas Pellets (pending in the Eastern District of Texas)
    • Representation of official creditor committees (seven committees from 2002-2015)
    • Asset and business acquisitions in bankruptcy cases and out-of-court restructuring matters
    • Representation of creditors in business reorganization and liquidation cases, and in consumer cases
    • Energy related litigation including title disputes, commercial and payment disputes, disputes between interest co-owners, and environmental and oil field “legacy” suits
    • Director and officer liability litigation
    • Litigation concerning real property issues, including takings / eminent domain, commercial leases, and tax sales
    • Proceedings before federal agencies overseeing oil and gas drilling and production (U.S. Department of Interior, Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement, Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Office of Natural Resources Revenue, and Interior Board of Land Appeals)
