Stephen Anastasia’s practice is focused on general corporate and insurance regulatory and transaction law, privacy and cybersecurity and innovative technology transactions. In addition to advising clients on a broad range of financial institution regulatory and compliance matters, Stephen counsels clients on company formation, licensing, mergers and acquisitions and brokered deposits.

Prior to joining the Firm, he was a member of the Innovation Legal Group at AIG, where he advised internal stakeholders on innovative technologies, products, services and business models, including blockchain/DLT, virtual currency, AI/machine learning, IoT, telematics, sharing economy and autonomous vehicles.

During his service, Stephen was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and Army Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service over the course of two deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
