David B. Allen

David Allen provides counsel to clients in a variety of commercial real estate and finance transactions. He represents financial services companies and other institutional lenders in commercial construction and permanent loans secured by senior health care facilities, multifamily projects, office buildings, retail shopping centers and condominium projects.

David also has extensive experience in real estate acquisitions and dispositions, health care and transportation transactions as well as representing developers in connection with the construction and development of multifamily, retail, industrial and mixed-used projects. David has a substantial commercial leasing practice in which he advises both tenants and landlords in various endeavors, including office, retail and industrial spaces.

David’s experience includes assisting in the representation of:

• One of the largest insurance companies in the United States in the negotiation of office and retail leases
• Institutional lenders in commercial loans secured by senior health care facilities, multifamily projects, retail shopping centers and condominium projects
• Client in acquisition and financing of over 40 multifamily properties in Texas, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina and South Carolina
• Sellers of medical office building sites, multifamily projects and industrial portfolios
• A national health care company in connection with the sale of medical office buildings and excess assets
• A government transportation agency in a variety of compliance matters
