JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A.

Locke Lord recently acted as counsel to JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. and several other financial institutions in connection with four construction loans to affiliates of real estate developer KDC Holdings, LLC for the building of several high-profile commercial projects in the Dallas area. The construction loans are for construction of a new headquarters for FedEx Office & Print Services Inc. in Plano, a new office campus for Raytheon Co. in Richardson's new CityLine development, and four office buildings in the same development to be occupied by State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company. The loans totaled in excess of $575 million and the projects, in the aggregate, will comprise more than 2,750,000 square feet of office space.
