Court Victory Upholding Client’s Election Win
In October 2012, our government team in our Providence office won a victory in the Rhode Island Supreme Court upholding the one-vote win of our client for a seat in the Rhode Island House of Representatives. The Court rejected a petition filed by the Rhode Island ACLU that sought an order requiring the state Board of Elections to conduct a manual recount of contested ballots cast in the primary.
