    In landmark decision, CJEU holds that Louboutin's red soles are not a shape

    London Associate Theresa Castle authored an article on Louboutin v. Van Haren Schoenen BV, where the Grand Chamber of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) held that the colour red on the sole of a woman’s high-heel shoe is a position mark. In the article, Ms. Castle provides a background of the case and discusses the decision.
