The House of Lords will commence its formal consideration of the draft European Union (Withdrawal) Bill that is before the UK Parliament today (30 January). In addition, an influential committee of the House of Lords on constitutional matters published a report yesterday morning criticising many of the provisions and powers contained in the draft bill and calling for significant amendment of it.
