    Outside Publication
Atlanta Partner Brian Casey and Of Counsel Tom Sherman co-authored a Law360 article on potential changes in the life settlement industry under the U.S. Internal Revenue Services’ Revenue Ruling 2009-13 which, if adopted, would apply to all transfers of life insurance policies after Dec. 31, 2017. The lawyers explore the intent of the legislation noting changes such as reporting requirements with the sale of a life insurance policy, among others.
