Cutting corporation tax will make Brexit negotiations more difficult Stefan Loefven, the Swedish Prime Minister, said that “aggressive” tax cuts by Britain will damage relations with the EU.
This comment arises at a time when the Chancellor Philip Hammond has made changes to his Autumn Statement by cutting taxes and borrowing to invest in infrastructure. Brexit has been seen as an opportunity to scrap corporation tax in an effort to reboot the economy.
