Lawyer of Color “Hot List”
Publications
Krystle Guillory Tadesse (Providence) was recently selected by the Eastern Region of Lawyers of Color for its inaugural “Hot List,” recognizing 100 junior and mid-level minority attorneys excelling in the legal profession. Lawyers of Color, which was founded as On Being A Black Lawyer, has been recognized by the American Bar Association, the National Black Law Students Association, and the National Association of Black Journalists. Honorees for the “Hot List” were chosen through a two-pronged process by a selection committee that spent months reviewing nominations and researching bar publications and legal blogs in order to identify candidates. In June, Krystle was also elected to the board of directors of the Rhode Island Women’s Bar Association (RIWBA). The RIWBA promotes the advancement of women in the legal profession, and provides seminars and networking opportunities targeting the needs, challenges and issues facing female attorneys in their practices. In addition, the RIWBA offers a forum to discuss and address local, national and international issues of significance to women generally and to female attorneys in particular. Congratulations Krystle!
