(DALLAS) December 13, 2018 – Locke Lord’s George Bowles has been named a Fellow of the invitation-only American College of Construction Lawyers (ACCL), reflecting his deep commitment to construction law and his achievement of the highest standards of ethical conduct, scholarship, professionalism and collegiality.
Bowles, an accomplished trial lawyer based in the Firm’s Dallas office, is also a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, serving on the Complex Litigation and Moot Court Committees at the College. He was previously recognized as a Trial Legend by the Dallas Bar Association’s Tort and Insurance Practice Sections. He was named 2014 Lawyer of the Year for Litigation – Construction in Dallas by the Best Lawyers in America® and has also been recognized in the areas of Bet the Company, Construction, Business and Intellectual Property Litigation. Bowles has been designated as a Texas Super Lawyer in Business Litigation by Texas Monthly since 2003.
Bowles concentrates his practice in complex business-related litigation, including construction, breach of contract, fraud, intellectual property and business torts. He is a former President of the Dallas Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, serving on its National Board of Directors. In 2016-2017, Bowles was Chairman of the State Bar of Texas Construction Law Section.
