Austin Business Journal Features Locke Lord Austin Office Managing Partner Brian Cassidy Following Confirmation as Austin Chamber of Commerce Board Chairman for 2019

Brian Cassidy, Managing Partner of Locke Lord’s Austin office, was featured in the Austin Business Journal following his confirmation as 2019 Chair of the Board of Directors of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce. In 2018, Cassidy served as the Chamber’s Chair-Elect.

The Chamber is the voice of business for Central Texas, and has played a major role in attracting jobs and businesses to what has been one of the fastest growing regions in the country. Cassidy has identified affordability and transportation as "pressing needs" facing the Austin region and pledged to work with elected officials in addressing those challenges. Looking forward to his position working with the Chamber, he said, "As we move into an important year for the Austin region and the State of Texas, there are many opportunities for us to continue the success we’ve had in stimulating and growing the economy through generating and attracting new jobs that help people in our region gain economic stability and prosperity."
