Locke Lord Trademark Practice and Lawyers Recognized in 2018 Edition of World Trademark Review 1000

February 5, 2018

February 5, 2018 – Locke Lord’s Trademark, Copyright and Advertising Practice has been recognized among the world’s leading trademark groups in the 2018 edition of the World Trademark Review (WTR) 1000. The Firm’s Trademark Practice received a bronze band ranking in the United Kingdom: England, and one Locke Lord lawyer was among the recommended trademark professionals.

The annual report recognizes exceptional individuals and firms in the field who play a significant role in developing and implementing brand strategies for clients as well as acting to protect clients’ trademark rights in the event of infringement. The publication cites that “Locke Lord is one of the few firms in London that can provide all-encompassing support to brand owners for all their U.S. and European trademark needs.”

Ben Hitchens, also based in London, was mentioned in WTR’s report as a “pragmatic, concise and commercial” lawyer who is “not afraid to advise against a course of action if it increases costs without a tangible benefit.”

Now in its eighth year, the WTR 1000 remains the only standalone publication to recommend individual practitioners and their firms exclusively in the trademark field. WTR conducts independent research and extensive interviews with hundreds of lawyers and their clients involved with trademarks to verify leading players in 70 key jurisdictions.
