141 Locke Lord Lawyers in 15 U.S. Offices Named to The Best Lawyers in America® 2016 List; 10 Lawyers Named Lawyers of The Year

August 17, 2015 – One hundred forty-one Locke Lord lawyers representing 15 U.S. offices have been selected by their peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® 2016, in recognition of excellence in their field. The 141 listed lawyers reflect the merger of Locke Lord LLP with Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP that took effect in January 2015.

Inclusion in the publication’s rankings is gained through a national nomination and peer review process. This year’s edition included 19 Locke Lord lawyers listed for the first time.

Locke Lord also saw a noteworthy increase in the number of lawyers who received the special designation of Lawyer of the Year. Each year just one lawyer in each practice area and designated metropolitan area earns this honor. The Firm saw an increase from 8 named lawyers to 10 in the 2016 edition.
