    Paulette Brown, a labor and employment law partner and chief diversity officer at Edwards Wildman, has been nominated to serve as the American Bar Association’s president-elect for 2014-15, reported InsideCounsel. The article, "ABA Nominates Brown as First Woman of Color President," noted that Brown will become the first woman of color and third African-American to serve as ABA president if elected by the ABA House of Delegates at association’s annual meeting, which begins August 7 in Boston.
