July 21, 2014 - Locke Lord LLP is growing its San Francisco office with the addition of Partner Jaremi Chilton, member of the Firm’s Corporate Department and Tax Practice Group.
Chilton, who will continue to maintain his presence in Locke Lord’s Houston office, handles matters relating to a wide variety of cross-border transactions concerning foreign investment into the United States as well as U.S. investment abroad. He works with attorneys both within and outside the United States on complex tax transactions, commercial immigration work and other international matters.
“We are very excited to have Jaremi in San Francisco and as part of our entire California team,” said Matt Blackburn, Office Managing Partner. “International tax regulations are quite complex and are constantly changing, and Jaremi’s strong background is an asset to assisting clients in this region and across the Firm.”
Locke Lord continues to grow its San Francisco presence with additional attorneys, and just recently moved into larger offices in downtown San Francisco.
Chilton is not entirely new to the California area, having received his J.D. from Santa Clara University in 2001. He is licensed to practice in both Texas and California, and is a member of the American Bar Association's Taxation and International Law Sections. Before joining Locke Lord, Chilton worked as a Shareholder at Chamberlain Hrdlicka.
He can be reached in his San Francisco office at (415) 318-8805.
