November 6, 2013 - Locke Lord Partner Bradley C. Weber has been elected President-Elect of the Dallas Bar Association (DBA) for 2014. Following his tenure, he will serve as the association's 106th President in 2015.
Weber is Co-Leader of Locke Lord's Antitrust Practice Group and has experience in a variety of arbitration matters and commercial litigation in both state and federal courts. His recent litigation cases have involved clients from a wide range of industries. He also has extensive experience representing clients in class action litigation.
A leader in local, state and national bar associations, Weber was elected to the DBA Board in 2006 and elected Chair of the Board of Directors in 2011. He has served as Chair of numerous DBA Committees, including the Finance Committee, Morris Harrell Professionalism Committee and Judiciary Committee. In addition, he was Co-Chair of the 2011-2012 Campaign for Equal Access to Justice and is on the Council of the DBA's Antitrust & Trade Regulation Section. He also served as President of the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers in 1998. Weber currently is on the Council of the Antitrust and Business Litigation Section of the State Bar of Texas, and is a past Co-Chair of the American Bar Association's Section of Litigation – Antitrust Committee.
As President-Elect, Weber joins a long list of Locke Lord Partners who have led the DBA, including Partner Harriet Miers, who nominated Weber for President-Elect at the Annual Meeting. Miers served in the administration of President George W. Bush from 2001-2007 as Staff Secretary, Deputy Chief of Staff, and Counsel to the President.
A University of Michigan Law School graduate, Weber is a Life Fellow of both the Dallas Bar and Texas Bar Foundations and a Life Founding Fellow of the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers Foundation. He works in Locke Lord's Dallas and Washington, D.C. offices.
