    Edwards Wildman's Krystle Tadesse Elected to the Board of Directors of the Rhode Island Women’s Bar Association

    Krystle Guillory Tadesse, an associate in Edwards Wildman's Providence office, has been elected to the board of directors of the Rhode Island Women’s Bar Association (RIWBA). The RIWBA promotes the advancement of women in the legal profession, and provides seminars and networking opportunities targeting the needs, challenges, and issues facing female attorneys in their practices. In addition, the RIWBA offers a forum to discuss and address local, national, and international issues of significance to women generally and to female attorneys in particular. Through philanthropy, education, mentoring and connecting people, the RIWBA has improved and continues to improve the Rhode Island community as a whole.

    Tadesse practices in the Litigation Management Group at Edwards Wildman, where she focuses on the defense of general liability matters. In this role, Tadesse represents a Fortune 100 pharmacy chain in the defense of a variety of matters, including claims of pharmacy malpractice, consumer fraud and premises liability, and serves to coordinate the defense of these claims nationally.

    A member of the Rhode Island, Rhode Island Women's, and Massachusetts Bar Associations, Tadesse also serves as a mentor with Rhode Islanders Sponsoring Education (RISE) and on the board of directors of Reach Out and Read Rhode Island. She earned her law degree from Northeastern University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from Connecticut College.
