Andrew Hughes, associate in Edwards Wildman’s Providence office, has been recognized in Providence Business News’ 2013 “40 Under Forty” list. The 40 Under Forty winners were selected based on career success and community involvement. All are young professionals who have committed to making a difference on a local, national or international scale. Hughes is an associate in Edwards Wildman's Business Law Department. His practice is focused on private equity, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate. On four separate occasions, Hughes has received Edwards Wildman's annual award for pro bono service for substantial work done on behalf of the Providence After School Alliance (PASA), a public/private partnership that coordinates, improves, and helps fund after-school programs for Providence public middle schools. In addition, Hughes has assisted Crossroads Rhode Island, the leading homeless service in the State of Rhode Island, in support of a formal affiliation with the Women’s Center of Rhode Island, a provider of services to victims of domestic violence.
