is pleased to announce that it has established an office in Miami. A fixture in Florida’s legal community since 1981, the firm’s newest office reflects its ongoing growth and commitment to serving clients in South Florida.

A leader in Florida’s private equity and venture capital markets, veteran partner John Igoe was appointed to the board of directors of BioFlorida, which grows and strengthens the state’s bioscience, pharmaceutical and medical device industries.
Edwards Wildman opened its first Florida office in West Palm Beach in 1981. The firm established a presence in Gainesville in 2008, and has had office space there continuously since then, staffed by attorneys from other offices on a rotating basis. The firm has a long-standing relationship with the University of Florida and is a resident partner of the Florida Innovation Hub.
