March 7, 2013 – International law firm Locke Lord announces the formation of a Global Litigation Practice Group to serve its growing client base and its expanding worldwide platform. Longtime Dallas Partner Edwin R. DeYoung will serve as Global Head of Litigation for the new practice, which will collaborate with lawyers from across the Firm's 13 offices, including London and Hong Kong.
DeYoung works out of the Firm's New York City and Dallas offices, and also is licensed to practice in the District of Columbia. He has been with Locke Lord for almost 30 years. DeYoung's practice involves a wide range of complex corporate and commercial cases including class actions related to securities, antitrust, IP, RICO and business disputes. It also concentrates on the financial services sector including commercial and investment banks, securities' broker/dealers and life insurance companies. He represents the Firm's U.S. clients as well as entities based in the United Kingdom, Europe and Hong Kong. DeYoung also previously served on the Firm's Executive Committee for 10 years.
