    Two Locke Lord Partners Honored as Client Service All-Stars in BTI Consulting Group's 2013 All-Star Report

    February 21, 2013 – Two Locke Lord Partners are among a handful of lawyers in the Insurance and in the Securities Litigation practices nationwide who are recognized for excellent client service in a U.S. client survey. The 2013 BTI Client Service All-Stars include Locke Lord's Chicago Partner Jon Biasetti, Co-Chair of the Firm's Insurance: Regulatory & Transactional Practice Group, and Houston Partner Craig Weinstock, Co-Chair of the Securities Litigation Practice Group. Biasetti is one of 11 insurance lawyers included in the nationwide list, and Weinstock is one of 10 securities litigation lawyers selected this year.

    The 2013 All-Stars list marks the 12th year that BTI Consulting Group has interviewed corporate counsel and analyzed feedback in five categories: client focus; exceptional understanding of the client's business; outsized value; legal skills; and outstanding results. BTI interviewed 240 corporate counsel from large and Fortune 1000 companies representing 15 industries to obtain the 2013 results.

    Biasetti represents U.S. and foreign clients on a variety of corporate, transactional and insurance regulatory matters, from regulatory compliance issues to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and reinsurance transactions. Biasetti also regularly represents several large health insurance companies in their marketing alliances and joint ventures with other health insurers and large hospital systems. Biasetti, fluent in four languages, was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, raised in Rome, Italy, and moved to Chicago in 1987. He graduated with honors from Boston College Law School and has been with Locke Lord for more than 25 years.

    Weinstock's clients are diverse and include audit committees, directors and officers, derivative and minority shareholders and others, and he has extensive trial and appellate experience in federal and state trial court. He has prosecuted and defended numerous cases involving complex securities and derivative issues involving a wide range of industries, including energy, real estate, banking and finance and more. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Federal Bar Association and the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs, Washington, D.C. Weinstock is a graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School and has been with Locke Lord for more than 28 years.
