Claudia Matzko Selected for the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce's ‘Boston Future Leaders' Program
Claudia Matzko, an associate in Edwards Wildman's Public Finance Department, has been selected as a member of the Boston Future Leaders program, which is sponsored by the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. Limited to an exclusive group of successful, emerging leaders who have been identified by senior executives of Chamber member organizations, Matzko will participate in leadership development programs at Harvard Business School and Suffolk University Business School, connect with prominent executives in the business and civic communities, and learn about public policy issues affecting local businesses from some of the region's foremost political leaders.
Based in the firm's Boston office, Matzko has extensive experience serving as bond counsel to numerous cities, towns, counties, districts and political subdivisions throughout Massachusetts and New England. She assists municipalities and government entities in all phases of issuing taxable and tax-exempt debt, for the purpose of generating revenue to finance various public works projects. Her experience includes both general obligation financings as well as revenue bond financings.
Matzko earned her undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire, her M.F.A. degree from Yale University School of Art, and her law degree from the Roger Williams University School of Law. She is admitted to the bar in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
