October 4, 2012 – Locke Lord Attorney Ann Ryan Robertson has been elected to the prestigious American Law Institute (ALI), a diverse and exclusive group of lawyers, judges and law professors considered leaders in their practice areas. Members of ALI help draft, discuss, revise and publish restatements of the law, model statutes and principles of law as part of the Institute’s mission to clarify, modernize and improve the law. The 68 newly elected members represent Americans from 24 states and one U.S. territory, as well as four international members.
Robertson has over a decade of experience in international arbitration and is a member of the U.S. delegation to the NAFTA Advisory Committee on Private Commercial Disputes and serves on the Executive Committee of the North American Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a UK registered charity that offers education and training through an international network of more than 30 branches.
