Paulette Brown Receives Inaugural Robert L. Carter Legacy Award

    Awards & Recognitions
The New Jersey chapter of the NAACP will bestow its inaugural Robert L. Carter Legacy Award to Paulette Brown, partner and chief diversity officer at Edwards Wildman. Brown was selected in recognition of changing things for the better for her clients, giving her time, energy and legal expertise in a variety of areas for the common good, and putting the needs of many above the convenience and comfort of self. The NAACP will highlight her leadership, commitment and civic accomplishments at the New Jersey State NAACP Annual Convention. Robert L. Carter was an NAACP civil rights attorney and an architect of the legal strategy used in the cases that led to Brown vs. Board of Education, the landmark 1954 Supreme Court decision that declared school segregation unconstitutional.
