Edwards Wildman's Krystle Guillory Tadesse Elected to Board of Directors for Reach Out and Read Rhode Island
Krystle Guillory Tadesse, an associate in Edwards Wildman's Providence office, was recently elected to a two-year term on the board of directors of Reach Out and Read Rhode Island, a non-profit organization focused on improving low-income children's early access and exposure to books. Reach Out and Read builds on the unique relationship between doctors and patients to spread the message that reading aloud is the most important thing that parents can do to help their children love books and start school ready to learn. The board includes a large number of Rhode Island-based individuals from the healthcare field, including representatives of Lifespan, Hasbro Children's Hospital, area health plans and Rhode Island Medical Society.
Tadesse practices in the Litigation Management Group at Edwards Wildman, where she focuses on the defense of general liability matters. In this role, Tadesse represents a Fortune 100 pharmacy chain in the defense of a variety of matters, including claims of pharmacy malpractice, consumer fraud and premises liability, and serves to coordinate the defense of these claims nationally.
A member of the Rhode Island, Rhode Island Women's and Massachusetts Bar Associations, Tadesse also serves as a mentor with Rhode Islanders Sponsoring Education (RISE). She earned her law degree from Northeastern University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from Connecticut College.
