Locke Lord Partners Cynthia Bast in Austin and Chris Hart in Washington, D.C., Appointed Co-Chairs of 15-Member Board

    March 26, 2012 — Locke Lord Partners Cynthia Bast of Austin and Chris Hart of Washington, D.C., were named Co-Chairs of the international Firm’s 15-member Board of Directors. Bast is Chair of Locke Lord’s Affordable Housing practice and is nationally recognized as a preeminent attorney in the area of affordable housing and community development finance. Hart is Chair of the Firm’s Real Estate and Finance Group and also serves as co-head of the Financial Regulatory Reform Group.

    Locke Lord’s Executive Committee unanimously elected the two partners, both of whom were serving as Board Members. The Board of Directors sets the tone for the Firm and ensures that it adheres to its strategic goals and Mission Statement. The Board reports to Firm Chair Jerry Clements and the Executive Committee.
