At this year’s Seventh Annual American Bar Association Homeland Security Law Institute in Washington DC, Edwards Wildman partners Vincent Vitkowsky of New York and Stephen Landes of Chicago will participate in a panel titled “Private Civil Litigation Against Alleged Terrorist Sponsors.”
The event, which takes place from March 22-23, will address a wide range of subjects of interest to the private and public sectors. Specific panel topics will include on cargo and supply chain security, public-private information sharing, cyber security, The Safety Act and PS-Prep, CFATS, FCPA, OFAC and CFIUS.
Vitkowsky’s practice includes the intersection of insurance, terrorism and national security matters. Landes was one of the lead lawyers in the landmark cases utilizing the Antiterrorism Act to recover from organizations providing material support to terrorists.
